We should upgrade to Java 1.5.0_14. (VDT 1.8.1 currently has 1.5.0_13)
There are at least a few security fixes in it. It looks like most don't
apply to us, but I can't be certain of all of them. I want to err on the
side of conservatism and do the update.
Release notes for Java 1.5.0_14 are listed at
<http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/ReleaseNotes.html>. The ones that are
obviously security-related have a subcategory of "classes_security".
I expect that the update is relatively straightforward to do.
