Dear VDT team.

I found out that the glexec-OSG v0_5 series had a buggy configuration file.

I fixed that and tagged GLEXEC-OSG_v0_5_3.

Can you please pick it up and put it in VDT asap?

Thanks,
Igor

P.S.: Only the file that goes in /etc/glexec/glexec.conf has changed; I
have added the line
linger = no

Dear VDT team.

Has this been done?

Igor:

I have not had the chance to get to this yet. As you probably know, Alain is
out this week, and so is the other main VDT person, Scot. Plus, I'm doing
triage for Condor support this week, too. I hope to get to this update later
this week, after I release the first small update to VDT 1.10.1.

As long as it gets into OSG 1.0, I am fine.

There's just that one small change? No change to the build process, directory
layout, or anything trickier (for us) than that?

Correct.
If you rebuild, it will do that automatically.

But the difference is in only one file;
old:
http://cdcvs0.fnal.gov/cgi-bin/public-cvs/cvsweb-public.cgi/~checkout~/privilege/glexec-osg/cfg/glexec_etc/glexec.conf?rev=1.1&content-type=text/plain

new:
http://cdcvs0.fnal.gov/cgi-bin/public-cvs/cvsweb-public.cgi/~checkout~/privilege/glexec-osg/cfg/glexec_etc/glexec.conf?rev=1.2&content-type=text/plain

Cheers,
Igor

P.S.: I have heard other complaining about the creation of symlinks on
v0.5.2... not sure if that has been solved in the past or not, since it
is fully in your court after the build.

Disabled the call to chrpath, because the new version of
glexec does not contain an rpath for chrpath to modify.

Reverted r7754, which disabled the call to chrpath.

The glexec binary needs an rpath because it is a suexec binary.
Igor found the problem in the build, and I rebuilt Glexec 0.5.3.
