Hello,

We're in the process of debugging a problem with CERN's myproxy-server
which started when they upgraded to MyProxy v3.6 as provided by VDT 1.6.
We've discovered that the VDT MyProxy binaries are built using pthr
flavors, and we suspect this may be causing the problem. MyProxy should
be built with non-threaded flavors. MyProxy is not multi-threaded. We
suspect the threading code in the pthr Globus libraries may be causing
bad side-effects for the myproxy-server.

Hi Jim,

LCG has already notified me of the problem. It's in VDT ticket 3573.

I've agreed to fix it for them early next week.

I'll leave this ticket open, and the purpose will be to fix it for VDT
1.10.1. We'll do it within the next couple of weeks.
