Subject: Re: new dcache client rpm?

Hi Alain,

Just to make sure. The latest srm client is p8.

It is available from dcache.org:

http://www.dcache.org/downloads/1.8.0/index.shtml

In addition to critical fix to griftp client (a bug that caused new
client
to stop propery working against older servers) I have put fixes
having to
do with passing some paramaters from config file (including list of
ptocols).

Thanks

In the past couple days I have twice seen E-mail from Alex
Kulyatsev,
one of the srm developers at Fermilab, that a user should
get the new
version of the dcache client rpm from dcache.org. What should
the version string be saying on the new srmcp, and how do we
tell if we have it?
