Tim,

The new Gratia 0.34.9b is available here:
http://gratia.fnal.gov/Files/gratia_services_v0.34.9b.tar
http://gratia.fnal.gov/Files/gratia_reporting_v0.34.9b.tar

It contains the fixes for the comment lines in the sql files:
./gratia/build-summary-view.sql
./gratia/build-trigger.sql

As we discussed earlier, it appears that MySql is now enforcing the
comment rules whereby a comment line must be two dashes followed by
whitespace or a control character with the 5.0.67 version of the client.

Tim,

I have 2 nodes with VDT installations of the collector. If you want me
to test this with the new mysql version, let me know the cache

Thanks to John and Chris, I have updated Gratia services and reporting
to 0.34.9b in our VDT prerelease test cache. This is the cache that
we are testing nightly and that will become the VDT 1.10.1k update on
Monday (unless things go poorly).

You can access the cache using the following URL:

http://vdt.cs.wisc.edu/vdt_11099_cache

Be forewarned that this cache contains numerous differences over VDT
1.10.1j and that it is still under development. Caveat emptor!

Tim, how much more work needs to go into the VDT packaging of the 0.38
services? Is there a compelling reason why 0.38.4 isn't the thing to go
out with 1.10.1k?

Thanks,
Chris.

Chris:

A lot of work remains, therefore we're sticking with 0.34 for now.
We'll get back to you on 0.38 soon.

The test install I did from the http://vdt.cs.wisc.edu/vdt_11099_cache

was successful. No problems with v0.34.9b.

THanks

Hey, thank YOU, John! If it weren't for you, we would have shipped
MySQL 5.0.67 without fixing Gratia first, and that would have been
unfortunate.
